Lonely…

Dear Family,
I miss you guys. I miss the late night baking and carne asada fries. I miss talking to you every night mommy, and watching tv with you. I feel like I don’t have that many friends any more. Too much time to think since I finished school. Blah. I love you guys!

Until next time,
Sammi

Good bye culinary school!

Dear Family,

I am currently sitting in my last class at OCI. And writing my last blog post for credit. (Now I get to blog for fun!:P) Culinary School was a wonderful experience that I wish you all could have experienced with me. I made many new friends and learned a ton and now I’m going out into the real world of working. I’m so excited and so happy for how supportive you all have been of me and what you have taught me about the world mom and dad. I love you guys and I can’t wait to see you all at my graduation. April 7th! Don’t forget! 🙂

Until next time,

Sammi

School, Work, Friends…

Dear Family,
I’ve been super busy and finally have time to write this. Thursday after school I met up with David and Desirae, they finally got to meet! Yay! So that was super fun, we went to the mall and looked at makeup and undies. Haha.
Friday night I hung out with my friend Jill and Saturday night after work I did the same. She’s moving back to Alaska after school.

I miss you guys! Anytime I go to see a movie or shopping I think about you guys. Love you guys!

Until next time,
Sammi

Friends, Moving, Free Stuff…

Dear Family,

3 more school days and I’m done! I’m so excited to get out into the real world.

So last night after school I went to my friend’s house to help her pack because after school on Tuesday she’s driving up to Seattle to catch the barge back to Alaska. She has tons of stuff in her apartment that she doesn’t want/ can’t keep and has given much of it to me. My trunk now has cook books and a bag full of tea in it. Do you guys like tea?haha. I could send some to you.

MOM! Please remember to ship me my stuff, including that box of towels dad gave me. Please and thank you!

We also went to On the border for dinner. It was yummy but I kind of hate going to restaurants now because if I don’t get great service I get kind of pissed. 😛

So I love and miss you guys!

Until next time,

Sammi

New Years, School, and other stuff…

Dear Family,

It was so nice to see you guys when I was in SD. Especially you Matt(And Melissa!), I hope you are enjoying your coffee syrups and movie.:)

I had a nice flight home. There was a bit of turbulance but the little boy next to me seemed to enjoy it. His mom and I were holding onto our arm rests while he giggled. She finally exclaimed “Stop laughing! It’s not funny.” To which I giggled and said at least he’s not scared. She replied that she was scared. Oh, the innocent naivety of children.

When I got home there were presents waiting for me, I waited for Rhonda to get home from work and then opened them. A wallet from Aunti Di.:) And seat covers and a steering wheel cover for my car. They have flowers and peace signs on them, very cute. I’m so lucky!

I got to hang out with David later that night which was nice. I had a very uneventful New Years eve. David had to go to work so I went home, watched the Big Bang Theory marathon and went to sleep at 9:30. I know, I know. I’m a rebel. I woke to David’s Happy New Year text at midnight then fell back asleep. But I don’t regret it, New Years isn’t one of my favorite holidays.

I saw that you had fun with Bailey, Joe! 😀 I really like her, she’s so sweet!

So then yesterday I woke up and Tonya and everyone went up to the mountain to go tubing so I stayed home and watched No Strings Attached on Netflix. Not a very good movie, the idea seems  cute and funny and it has Ashton Kutcher and Natalie Portman but I thought Friends with Benefits with Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis was much better. They made a cuter couple and the character progression in that movie was much better. In conclusion, don’t watch No Strings Attached. Have you seen those one’s Matt? Do you agree with me?

After that I got a text from David so I went to his friends house downtown and hung out with them. We made biscuits and gravy and watched Army of Darkness. Haven’t seen that movie in forever, such a good flick though. What was that other zombie flick with Bruce Campbell that you made us watch when we were kids Matt?

After that David and I went to cold stone and got ice cream. I love their Pie Who Loves Me ice cream. It’s cheesecake ice cream with oreo’s, graham crackers, and chocolate sauce. So yummy!

I miss you guys already! Love you all!

Until next time,

Sammi

Holiday Parties!

Dear Family,

This weekend was BUSY! Friday Tonya and I went shopping, we were out pretty much all day then we went to Jessie’s ballet performance… All she did was stand there, too many people.haha. It was kind of cute though.

Then Saturday I worked and then went to the Burris Christmas Party at Richie’s. It was fun. I don’t remember ever meeting Ralph and Debbie before, as they said they haven’t seen me since I was little. So it was nice to talk to them. I also spent a lot of time talking to Jerry, he’s so sweet. We were talking about cooking of course. Ate tons of yummy food. Then everyone left and Heather, Tonya, Ross, and I stayed behind to hang out with Richie. Heather, Tonya, and Richie got very drunk and interesting things ensued. Things that I should NOT talk about on my blog.Haha. Don’t worry I’ll tell you guys in person when I get there. 😉

So then yesterday I had work. Then I ran some errands(got those Christmas presents you guys wanted me to get) then went to Aunti Di’s and helped bake some cookies, her and Rhonda were baking all day. There were TONS of cookies in the garage, so I packed some up and went next door to Heather’s where she helped me get ready for my work Christmas Party. I looked hot. Don’t have pictures right now, trying to get David to email them to me. I’m so glad that he was able to go with me. He had to go to his sisters play yesterday and then a family party and his parents were able to drop him off at my work on their way home. So the work party was a potluck and there was TONS of food. Tamales, chicken, pizza, pasta, and lots of desserts too. And of course booze, David must have had like 5 beers, along with his glass of sparkling wine, glass of eggnog, and little bit of tequila he had when he nerded out with the bartender.haha. Everyone seemed to like him which was good. The party was great we ate, and had a raffle where I won a paninni press! Woot! And I also got a giftcard to a cuban restaurant in NE, I’m excited to go eat there. 🙂 There was also a “crowning” of the employee of the year. My very manly coworker had to wear a princess tiara, it was great! There were also pinatas for the many children, it was super fun.

So I can’t wait to see you guys! Just a few more hours until I board the plane. Love and miss you guys!

Until tonight,

Sammi

The Pink Panther…

 Dear Family,

I was watching Netflix with the kids and Jessie wanted to watch The Pink Panther. I haven’t seen that show before, it’s really funny! I was surprised that I liked it so much but the old school violence made me laugh.

Here’s an episode in case you guys haven’t seen it.

In Other News:

I got hit on by a girl at the transit center today. I didn’t really know what to do except for smile and giggle awkwardly. Haha

Mommy don’t forget to call the insurance company!

I can’t wait to see you guys! I miss and love you!

Until next time,

Sammi
